Happy Summer Solstice And International Yoga Day
A time for celebrations and for:
🌸 Renewal
🌸 Gratitude
🌸 Connection
🌸 Presence
🌸 Joy
🌸 Light heartedness
Across various cultures, the summer solstice has for long been celebrated in varied ways.
What I like about solstices is that they are a reminder that balance can be achieved over time. We have seasons within our lives too and we can still be grounded in any of them. As well as celebrating summer, crops, the blossoming of seeds of opportunities and the abundance surrounding us, it is also a time to practice presence, and to reflect. We are tuning into nature rhythm. It is a good time to meditate on what has passed, what we are grateful for and what we would like to bring to fruition for the next part of the year. Use essential oils, play music, have a walk in nature, have an iced herbal tea, be grateful and be at home with yourself.
Interestingly, it is also International Yoga Day. It truly reinforces that whole idea of connection, union within yourself with the universe around you, cultivating presence and balance, even if it’s just connecting to your breath today and be grateful for it. Finding appreciation and gratefulness even in the littlest things that bring you peace. Like the trees, the beauty around, the nature are just few to name. Just pause. Trust me, this is going to change your whole outlook. Today, when I started to take the time and using my tools to calm down my nervous system, which I am really grateful for, and just be, a whole new world of perspectives and synchronicities opened their doors to me. Insanely beautiful.
The Summer solstice signs the beginning of the Cancer season. The new moon is just around the corner. The current moon phase is waning crescent which follows the full moon, a good time to let go, create space.
