All Hallows’ Eve, Samhain and the Dark Moon

Getting illuminated by the shadows.

We are in a potent time when different forces are at play. These forces they merge pretty well together, a beautiful alchemical dance. You might have already felt it, without being able to put words on it as these energies have been around the past few days.

On this Thursday the 31st of October, it is Halloween (All Hallows’ Eve) when Samhain (Sow-win) starts. Be-witching autumnal celebrations. I am truly at home here. Honouring the harvest and welcoming a new season, it is believed that the veil between the human and spirit world is at its thinest during that time. There is momentum in honouring the spirit world, connecting to our ancestors and reverencing Earth’s gifts.

Fascinatingly, today is also the ritualistic Dark Moon in the sign of Libra. A sign of relationships and balance. The Dark Moon is here to remind you to tune in, cultivating presence and to listen to what you need to let go of, before the seed plantings of the New Moon. Which cycle are you ending? What have felt imbalanced lately or always? Perhaps, you are called to leave behind some old soul agreements, forgiving yourself and others, letting go and healing ancestral wounds. Acknowledging what and who have come before you, and releasing.

Slowdown and take care of yourself. What is your inner voice nudging you to let go of?

Get illuminated by the shadows of the Dark Moon.

To add to this mesmerising and intense energy, the sun is in Scorpio. To summarise Scorpio, it is « the » sign of change and transformation. Death and Rebirth. Endings and beginnings. A true reflexion of this season, aligned with Samhain.

Our Dark Moon in Libra is preceding the New Moon in Scorpio.
